Duncan Howlett Guitarist
I have been playing, learning and performing since 1988.
In this time I have accumulated many musical achievements/experiences, such as: playing in a youth guitar ensemble, 1st place in Colchester's rotary music festival (under 14s guitarist), Qualifying as a Community Musician with musical charity Music in your Bones.
I studied at the Colchester Institute, gaining a diploma in Classical performance.
I started teaching in 2001, and performing solo for up to 4 hours, at weddings and parties. At some of these events I performed with a vocalist and in a jazz and blues duo.
Having moved to Brighton, I studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music for a HND and PDC in guitar.
I am currently lead guitarist in an original 8pc funk band THE GRAND MAJESTIC
